Everyone deals with the international break in different ways, and since Marcus Rashford isn't part of the England squad for this week's Euro qualifiers, he got his football fix elsewhere.

The Manchester United player was at New Meadow to watch a League One match between Shrewsbury and Portsmouth while he continues to recover from his ankle injury.

Rashford was one of a number of England players absent through injury for their first Euro 2020 qualifier, but they got through it just fine, winning 5-0 against Czech Republic on Friday.

Also missing were the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabian Delph, John Stones, Luke Shaw, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

But a hat-trick from Raheem Sterling as well as a goal from Harry Kane and an own goal from Tomas Kalas showed the depth of the England squad.

With his time off, Rashford took the trip down the M56 to watch Portsmouth beat Shrewsbury 2-0 thanks to goals from Ben Close and Brett Pitman.

A pair of shades, a cap, and a hoodie were not enough to hide his identity as he took in the game from the stands.

The 21-year-old has scored nine goals and provided six assists in his 26 Premier League matches so far this season, and has also grabbed two goals in the Champions League.

He'll be disappointed with his absence from the England team, which gave young star Jadon Sancho a chance to shine at Wembley.

Rashford attended England training this week, but withdrew from the squad in order to return to his club to continue treatment.
