23' Asensio hits the bar after Vinicius' shot saved
SAVE & OFF THE BAR! Madrid come close to taking the lead through Vinicius and Asensio. The Brazilian collects on the counter and breaks down the left flank. He cuts back inside to shoot on his right foot, only to be denied by a fingertip save from Akinfeev. Asensio gathers the rebound in the right inside channel and curls an effort towards the top corner, but sees his strike clip the top of the bar and bounce over.
37' GOAL! Real Madrid 0-1 CSKA Moskva (Chalov)
GOALLLLLLLLL!!!! CHALOV SCORES A FINE GOAL!!! CSKA 1-0!!! The Bernabeu is stunned as the visitors take the lead.
Sigurdsson runs through the Madrid midfield before offloading to Chalov in space on the edge of the box. He takes a step to open up room for a strike on his left foot. The forward hits his effort with curl to bend it around Courtois into the net. A great strike from Chalov to put his team ahead.
43' GOAL! Real Madrid 0-2 CSKA Moskva (Shchennikov)
GOALLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!! SCHENNIKOV DOUBLES CSKA'S LEAD!!! 2-0!!!! The visitors are in dreamland, notching a second goal at the Bernabeu.
Mario Fernandes is afforded too much space in the final third as he latches on to Chalov's flick. His effort from a tight angle is saved by Courtois, but the rebound falls to Schennikov in the box. He holds his composure from 10 yards, volleying his effort into the ground away from the Belgian.
73' GOAL! Real Madrid 0-3 CSKA Moskva (Sigurdsson)
GOALLLLLLLLLLL!!! SIGURDSSON MAKES IT THREE!!! 3-0 CSKA!!!! The Russian side have a third in the Bernabeu and are now surely on the path towards victory.
Vlasic is afforded space and time in the box and he opts to work the ball back to Sigurdsson rather than take on the strike. The winger hits his effort first time and the ball flies past Courtois into the bottom corner. A fine strike from Sigurdsson.
Match Report
CSKA Moscow completed a shock double over Real Madrid by winning 3-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday, but it was not enough to earn them a place in the Europa League.
The Champions League holders had been beaten 1-0 in the Russian capital earlier in their Group G campaign, yet they were already assured of going through as pool winners.
Their visitors, meanwhile, needed to pick up more points than Viktoria Plzen to prolong their European interest, but were denied by a 2-1 win for the Czech side over Roma.
Fedor Chalov, Georgy Schennikov and Arnor Sigurdsson scored the goals for CSKA on a humiliating night for Madrid, who were subjected to whistles from the home fans at full-time.

Me looking at the final score, after placing all my AF coins on Real Madrid. What went wrong? Where did the rain start beating Real? Poor performance.. It will be difficult to get to the finals with that kind of performance.

I think real Madrid took this game too lightly, fielded a weaker side and got caught out , fair play to CSKA they played a good game and got a result they wont be forgetting in a while , real still top the group however. Bring on the draw Monday Y.N.W.A

Guys please don’t overreact. Most of the main starters weren’t playing. It wasn’t helped by the fact that Benzema was up to his usually shenanigans and buffoonery. If Isco, Asensio, and Vinicius had scored their attempts in the first half, we’d been talking about a whole different story. The team did well but I just feel the team needs a prolific striker like Harry Kane or Mauro Icardi. Tall, strong strikers who won’t be bullied by physical defenders such as the ones CSKA Moskva have. But well played to them, they kicked our asses! Shame they can’t continue European football but wow they really played well in defense and counter. Don’t discredit them.

Real Madrid is losing more matches at home as compare to away matches.... I wonder why....
Ohh Yeah, I know... Because their fans boo and disrespect their own players instead of encouraging them...
Their President betrayed Spain...
So they are getting punished in Spain's Capital Madrid...
Sounds justified...

RM no longer a threat nowadays! But hey, in my humble opinion, I think Solari isn't the right manager for RM - mediocre ;no experience at all at top level football

Highest ever home loss for Real in a continental competition. Mental stat in and of itself but what a shocking performance this was. Vinicius Jr was the only player that looked promising.

I don't know how long this problem will suffer. It is turning out to be a horrible season for Madrid . I don't what was solari thinking . He kept all important players on bench and gave chance to those who r still too young to play at this stage . Defense is the main issue also in finishing . And I also don't know how long courtoes gonna start instead of navas who is way much better than courtoes. And finally one minute silence for those who thought that real would play good without ronaldo. It all cr7 effect . I hope that Madrid would come back soon to enjoy us

Real Madrid are wasting so many chances , they are playing so well but to no avail. They lack the last finishing touch or killer pass to score goals. They just have to get in Hazard and Icardi , or else I don't know how they are going to win anything in near future Hala Madrid

Solari, start getting ready for the exit door. Do you you know that Real Madrid are the defending champions? How can you draw a team that is not ready for the kill? CSKA Moscow defeated Real Madrid in their home and have come and done the collateral damage to Real Madrid in their own backyard. What do you have to say about it? Perhaps you don't know, you have put a curse on the team. The only goal keeper that has won the Champions League three times in a row is being overlooked as if to say he is a stranger. You are doom to fall sooner than later. Mark my words and read the lips of Perez and the Board.
