The Real Madrid squad returned to training this Monday, two months after the lockdown began.

Players have been allowed back into Real Madrid's Valdebebas training complex to do individual exercises.

The players were divided into two groups on different shifts.

Each group was then spread out to maintain an appropriate distance and the players then did their own individual exercises with or without the ball.

In this first week of work, there will only be individual sessions led by fitness coach Gregory Dupont.

Coach Zinedine Zidane was also very active throughout the session as he was always on the pitch, but giving instructions to his squad from a safe distance.

The idea is that next week they will start training in small groups of no more than six.

The players already know the hygiene and safety rules well, and will be kept as isolated as possible.

Real Madrid intend to make the de-escalation possible by respecting the protocols that LaLiga have established.
