Real Madrid will shift their focus back to La Liga as they host Sevilla at the Santiago Bernebeu on Saturday and look to carry forward their good run of form.

After winning the Spanish Super Cup, Real Madrid will shift their focus back to La Liga where they will face Sevilla at home to maintain the pressure on rivals Barcelona at the top of the table.

Sevilla, on the other hand, have been in decent form lately as they have managed to remain unbeaten in their last four matches in all competitions. Los Palanganas are currently in the fourth position in the league table and will be a tough nut to crack for Real Madrid.

Zidane enjoyed a successful experiment in Jeddah wherein he used five midfielders, but Karim Benzema is back and Fede Valverde's absence will likely see the 4-4-2 return.

The Frenchman has never been shy in hiding his desire to win LaLiga Santander before anything else this season, so he won't be taking Sevilla's visit lightly.

Real Madrid won't enjoy any respite from the calendar. Their win over Getafe ended a streak of three straight draws, and now Sevilla come to the capital.

Benzema's availability will be key after he missed out in Saudi Arabia and the No.9 will be hoping to end his own mini goal drought in LaLiga Santander, which is now at three games.

Valverde's absence will be noticed, though it makes the midfield appear clear with Luka Modric, Casemiro and Toni Kroos all ready to play alongside Isco.

Gareth Bale is again out of the matchday squad, despite having recovered, meaning it'll probably be one of the Brazilian youngsters, Rodrygo Goes or Vinicius Junior, who accompanies Benzema up top.

There are questions hanging over the defence, too.

Marcelo or Ferland Mendy will start on the left, while Sergio Ramos' absence is sure to open the door for Eder Militao.

Real are hitting their stride now and go into Saturday’s meeting unbeaten in nine league matches at home (six wins and three draws).

It should be a closely fought game — considering five points separate the sides plus the hosts are missing two big hitters in Ramos and Benzema — and that’s why we see this contest ending in a stalemate.
