Real Madrid's dirty tricks 'won't lower Chelsea’s £100m price' for Hazard

Chelsea expect to receive £100million for Eden Hazard from Real Madrid this summer, rather than the £86m figure the Spanish press are reporting was agreed, according to Mail.

The use of newspaper Marca as a negotiating device will not affect Chelsea’s stance as they prepare for a potential FIFA transfer ban this summer.

Chelsea’s appeal against the two-window ban will be heard on Thursday.

However, even if the ban stands, it is expected Hazard, who has one year left on his contract, will leave, as Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has made him a key summer target.

Chelsea hope that if they do sell Hazard it will encourage 18-year-old Callum Hudson-Odoi to sign a new deal, as his path to regular first-team football will be clearer.

Hudson-Odoi also has a year left on his deal and will attract bids from Manchester United and Bayern Munich this summer, but Chelsea will not allow both players to leave with a ban looming
