Real Madrid forward Rodrygo Goes hit out at his words being taken out of context to suggest that he might be looking to move on at some point. Yet those words did send tremors through Valdebebas, given the potentially delicate situation approaching with the arrival of Kylian Mbappe this summer.
For many, the Brazilian is the obvious player to come out of the starting XI to make space for Mbappe. Rodrygo has said he is looking forward to Mbappe’s arrival, and that he is there to help, but if his role were reduced, then it could lead to a move. Julio Pulido told Cadena SER that it could be interpreted as a warning for the club.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have made their interest in him known to him, but the side that is most keen on him are Manchester City, and in particular, Pep Guardiola. The Catalan coach would be delighted to have Rodrygo in his side.
It seems unlikely Rodryo leaves this summer, but if game time does drop for Rodrygo, and he has more lucrative offers to become a central part of another team, it’s a decision that would certainly require some thinking over. Another matter is what price Real Madrid would demand if it came to it.

Rodrygo is a great player. Madrid shouldn't make the mistake to ever sell him

Madrid can only play one at a time. How can they make both happy at the same time?

I'd rather mbappe doesn't come if his arrival means the departure of Rodrygo.
