Report: Newcastle wants €90M for Gordon, Bayern willing to pay €70M at most

According to the latest report from Manuel Bonke, a journalist for "Münchner Merkur", Newcastle United has priced Gordon at close to 90 million euros, but Bayern's maximum acceptable offer is 70 million euros.

It is reported that Gordon has reached an agreement with Bayern on the transfer, and sporting director Eberl has been working behind the scenes for weeks to facilitate the player's transfer. His agent, Gordon Stipic-Wipfler, has known Eberl for many years, and the two have collaborated on several transfers during Eberl's time at Mönchengladbach. Key details regarding Gordon's salary and contract length (5 years) have been agreed upon.

Negotiations with Newcastle United could be more difficult. The 25-year-old English forward's contract with the club runs until the summer of 2030, and Newcastle United has priced Gordon at nearly 90 million euros. For Bayern's management, this price is too high; their maximum acceptable offer is 70 million euros.
