Tottenham striker Richarlison was left in tears after being substituted during Brazil's 5-1 victory over Bolivia in World Cup qualifying on Friday night.

Brazil ran riot in the World Cup qualifier with Neymar and Rodrygo bagging braces but it was an evening to forget for Richarlison.

The forward missed a golden chance to get on the scoresheet as he blazed over from six yards.

He would fail to to redeem himself as he was replaced midway through the second half.

And the 26-year-old clearly found the manager's decision tough to take as the cameras cut to him crying on the bench.

It's a big season for Richarlison, who is now the main man up front at Spurs following the departure of Harry Kane.

He has started all four of his side's Premier League games but is yet to find the net, his only goal so far coming in the Carabao Cup defeat to Fulham.

Friday's match was Brazil's first of World Cup qualifying and put them top of the table courtesy of goal difference.
