Robin van Persie has revealed the six best players he starred alongside in his career, with four of them Manchester United superstars.
Former Arsenal and United striker Van Persie retired aged 35, but dazzled in the Premier League for both clubs and played with a host of big names.
He spent three seasons at Old Trafford after controversially leaving Arsenal to join United, and even won the top-flight title in his first campaign.
Now, looking back at his years in England, Van Persie still has fond memories from the two teams, as shown when naming the best players he took to the field with.
When asked to pick his most talented team-mate, he told BBC Sport: 'So difficult to name one.
'I would go for Dennis Bergkamp, Thierry Henry, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Wayne Rooney and Ruud van Nistelrooy.'
Van Persie played with Giggs, Scholes and Rooney at United. However, he wasn't able to partner Van Nistelrooy up front, after the ace left the club in 2006.
Both strikers did play together for Holland, though, and they scored 85 goals between them from 172 caps in total.
Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand were also singled out by Van Persie as being the two best defenders he faced during his illustrious career.
Meanwhile, the now 38-year-old claimed he could have stayed at United for one more season, but left after Louis van Gaal pushed him down the pecking order.
'Because I had one more year on my deal, maybe I should have stayed,' he added.
'But then Van Gaal was the coach and he made it quite clear what his intentions were.
'Then you have to make a decision: Do you stay and fight for your place?
'Would it be an honest competition or not? Based on all that info, we decided to move on.'
