Moussa Dembele has reignited his bitter feud with Brendan Rodgers after his old boss quit Celtic to sign a £5.5million-a-year deal at Leicester on Tuesday.
Dembele and Rodgers have previous after the striker hit out at the Northern Irishman in the summer of 2018, insisting Celtic fans should 'be careful who they call their leader' shortly before his exit to Lyon.
Now, six months on, Rodgers too has left Celtic - and Dembele was quick to stick the boot in on his former coach.
Quoting a tweet confirming Rodgers' arrival at Leicester, Dembele simply said '#Interesting', before posting a GIF of a man looking confused.
In a follow-up tweet, the French forward quoted lyrics from the Notorious B.I.G hit Juicy, writing: '#AndIfYouDon'tKnowNowYouKnow #IToldYou'.
Incredibly, Dembele then weighed in for a fourth time, posting a video of Muhammad Ali's legendary post-fight interview after his 'Rumble in the Jungle' bout with George Foreman.
In the clip, Ali says: 'Everybody stop talking now, okay, I told, all of my critics, I told you all.'
Dembele's strong words come after Rodgers tried to veto the striker's move to Lyon, due to Celtic not having a replacement mid-season.
In the end, Dembele's move did go through, but he was heavily abused by Celtic fans who questioned his loyalty to the club.
Now though, many Celtic fans are issuing apologies to their old player after Rodgers became the latest mid-season exit at the Scottish Premiership giants.

Leicester City are a million miles away from Celtic. The premier league is where most managers strive to be and let's not forget there are only 20 clubs in it. So many managers out there, so managing any team in the EPL is hugely sought after.
Mind u only 4 seem to win it regardless of the money they all have.

Just goes to show that this whole notion that Celtic are a massive club internationally is a facade. What does it say when a manager would rather manage a mid table club in England than Celtic? Gerrard will be off as well as soon as he gets offered a decent job in the prem. The Scottish league is a joke.
Money, do you not understand this bit yet,? Celtic obviously a much bigger club, Leicester obviously a much richer club. Watford can out bid Inter Milan now days, so i hope you now understand and have a correct notion of how things stand.

Why would he be bitter for not playing in England? What so special about playing in England? It's not the epicentre of football. Otherwise Messi,Ronaldo,Mbappe,Nymer would be fighting to play in England. I detect a sense of bitterness because you know the kid is right. He is just calling out Roger for being a hypocrite...doing the same thing he accused the did.
Well said Rodgers gave him pelters now he is getting it back.

Rodgers is only interested in chasing the Yankee dollar when all is said and done. At the end of the day he can't quite cut the mustard at the highest level. He should cut his losses and throw in the towel
I n England we are paid in pounds.

Why else would you walk away from a historic treble treble. I was amazed when this news broke from Celtic world famous club European football every year, to mid table nothing of a team. Dont get me wrong it was great when Leicester won the EPL but they are now at their normal level

What did Celtic expect, that Rodgers will stay and win the same trophies every year without the possibility of really competing in Europe.

I don't understand what the big deal is. A man has been offered a higher paying job and he has taken it. So what??

That is a novelty: someone leaving for another job, because it pays more. Who would have thought it. Most football manger's jobs is only as good as is last 6 games.

They are professionals, they play or manage for money. They have no loyalty to the club and the clubs have no loyalty to them, thats for the fans.

Yes he moved for money, just like 95% of players in modern football.. Why so bitter ? Probably because he's not good enough to play in England.
