Rodrygo Goes dismissed comparisons with Brazilian legend Ronaldo after scoring a goal on his Real Madrid debut on Wednesday.
The 18-year-old wrote his name into the history books by becoming Madrid's quickest debut goalscorer in La Liga since Ronaldo, coming off the bench to wrap up 2-0 win over Osasuna in La Liga.
It took him just 93 seconds to make his mark at the Bernabeu while Ronaldo took just 62 for his opening Madrid strike against Alaves back in 2002.
However, the Brazilian teenager insists he doesn't want to be likened to the football icon as he is one of the 'game's all-time best'.
'I don't want any comparisons with Ronaldo being made because he's one of the game's all-time best and one of my country's best,' Rodrygo told reporters following the final whistle.
'As for the goal - I controlled it well and knew that from there on in things would work out. I have to always show that I'm capable of playing here.'

Yes he can be on the level of Ronaldo(Brazil) if he works really hard. I think he is better than Vinicius. He is more composed in front of goal and smarter. Vinicius needs to improve his decision making mentality.
