On a season-long loan at Roma, it's been suggested Ferguson's spell could be cut short after an inconsistent first-half of the season.
But Massara said: "I've never heard of this possibility. Evan is doing well, he's returning to the levels we know. He needs consistency; he did well on Thursday."
Massara was referring to Ferguson's double in the Europa League win at Celtic last week.
He added: "We're pleased with what Ferguson is doing. All these rumors were speculation that didn't match our intentions. It's important to do well now."

I honestly think he did even better on Monday and he didn't even score.
