Roma star Stephan El Shaarawy enjoys himself at Masters snooker final

It has certainly been an eventful weekend for Roma star Stephan El Shaarawy.

On Saturday the winger scored the winner as his side prevailed past Torino with a 3-2 victory in Serie A.

Early on Sunday morning El Shaarawy got on a plane to London to watch the Masters snooker final between Ronnie O'Sullivan and Judd Trump.

The 26-year-old posted an image of himself and Manuel El Shaarawy, his brother and agent, preparing for take off.

El Shaarawy certainly seemed to be enjoying himself as he took in the action at Alexandra Palace.

Trump established a 7-1 lead over O'Sullivan in the opening session.

O'Sullivan was left with much work to do in order to get back into the game.

So far this season El Shaarawy has mustered six goals in 12 Serie A appearances.

Roma are currently in fourth place in the table - they are 20 points adrift of leaders Juventus despite having played a game more.

They return to action on Saturday with a trip to take on Atalanta.
