Bloomberg report that the Russian multi-billionaire has already rejected an offer but has a clear valuation and date in mind to end his Premier League ownership.
Russian billionaire, Roman Abramovich, has been analysing the possibility of selling Chelsea Football Club for months, and according to Bloomberg, the price for the Premier League club is now known.
Chelsea FC sale closer
The US news organisation has stated that Abramovich has already rejected an offer of 2.3 billion pounds and has an expectation of 3 billion pounds (around 3.355 billion euros).
Despite the fact that the rejected value would have been a record sale for a sports club, Abramovich prefers to wait until the beginning of the new year to sell, as advised by Raine Group LLC, the New York company assisting with the management of the sale. Bloomberg have said that the Russian has begun a restructuring of assets to protect them in case of any sanctions from the United States.
Chelsea FC resurfaced both economically and on a sporting level following Abramovich's purchase of the club for 140 million pounds in 2003.
