Ronaldo celebrates the New Year with Georgina as they take in a fireworks show

Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated 2024's arrival in spirited style as he enjoyed a firework display in Madeira with his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez.

The Al-Nassr forward and his long-time partner dressed up and graced a rooftop party to take in the view as lights illuminated the sky.

Just a few days ago, Ronaldo described the fireworks show in his homeland as 'the best in the world' and it looks like he made the most of New Year's Eve.

Georgina posted some pictures of her and Ronaldo embracing each other and similing as fireworks popped off behind them.

'May the magic of New Year fill your days with love, joy, health, harmony, and your nights of dreams fulfilled! Happy 2024 to all!' she wrote on Instagram.

Ronaldo was also seen partying with his sister, Katia Aveiro, in a video she posted on Instagram.

The video shows her singing a song next to a grand dinner table - though it takes Ronaldo a few seconds to get into the mood.

The Manchester United legend initially looked a little reluctant to join in with her singing, before nodding his head and getting into the groove with some vocals of his own.

After a clever transition, viewers see Ronaldo in full party mode as he sways, lifts his arms, and laughs, encouraged by his sister.

In a separate video posted by his sister, Ronaldo is seen looking rather awkward as a guitar player sings to him and his girlfriend.

He hasn't been the only footballer to let his hair down as the world surges into a new year.
