A supercar belonging to Cristiano Ronaldo - valued at £1.8million - has crashed into a house in Majorca on Monday, according to reports in Spain.
The Manchester United superstar is on the Balearic Island, enjoying a holiday with family before returning to the United Kingdom for pre-season, which begins later this month. El Periodico Mediterraneo report that the Bugatti Veyron was being driven by an employee of the Portuguese superstar, when it crashed into the entrance of a house on Monday morning.
It is understood the driver of the vehicle has suffered no serious injuries, but there is said to be extensive damage to the front of the vehicle.
As well as being one of the greatest players in the history of football, the record-breaking goalscorer has a love of supercars and has a fleet valued at around £17m.
In a recent documentary of which his partner Georgina Rodriguez was the subject, fans were given a glimpse at his array of vehicles including a Ferrari 599 GTO, a McLaren Senna and a pair of Rolls-Royces.
Ronaldo and his family arrived on the Spanish island last week, having missed Portugal's final international match through injury. And with his first Erik ten Hag pre-season just weeks, the 37-year-old, along with partner Georgina, and children Cristiano Jr, Eva, Matteo, Alana Martina and new-born baby Bella Esmeralda flew out on a private jet.
It has been reported that the car involved in the incident was one of two that the United star had shipped over to join him in Majorca.
Ronaldo has been sharing images of his time away, but will have one eye on his return to Carrington and his first chance to impress the new manager. He has already quashed any speculation regarding an exit this summer and spoken of how excited he is to link up with the Dutchman.
"What I know about him is he did a fantastic job for Ajax, that he's an experienced coach," he told the club's website last month. "But we need to give him time.
"Things need to change the way he wants. I hope we have success, of course, because, if you have success, all of Manchester is going to have success as well. I wish him the best.
"We are happy and excited, not only as players, but the supporters as well .I wish him the best and let's believe that, next year, we are going to win trophies."
United, coming off their worst Premier League season ever, kick-off the 2022/23 campaign at home to Brighton, before their first clash against the established 'big six' comes on August 20, when they take on Liverpool at Old Trafford.

I was there when they phoned to tell Cr7 and this was his response. "Oh, how is he? Is he ok. I hope he didn't suffer any major injury. Please give him the best medical care possible, I will come to check on him soon" Surprisingly, he didn't even ask about the car. Somethings are more important than money, life is an example. CR7 to the whole world ✌️✌️
