Sky Sports have released a hilarious new advert featuring an all-star cast ahead of the new Premier League season - which includes Roy Keane dressed up as a clown.

The broadcaster's 'Greatest Show on Earth' circus advert features some the top names in sport, including Manchester City duo Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish, Lionesses star Ella Toone, F1 legend Lewis Hamilton, England cricket captain Ben Stokes and many more.

Each sports person shows off their skills in the ad, with golf ace John Rahm showing his accuracy before Hamilton takes on Lando Norris in a race around the circus.

However, one moment has fans talking as ringmaster Idris Elba approaches Keane, who is caked in clown make-up to close out the advert.

'The Greatest Show on Earth' showcases Sky's brilliant selection of live sport across the year.

Mail Sport's Nasser Hussain is also present during the advert as he bowls at Stokes and Sophia Dunkley, who hit the balls back for six before Raducanu shows her trapezing skills while hitting a backhand shot.

Treble winners Grealish and Haaland are also present showing off their skills, with both men performing acrobatic flips.

The Norway international then follows it up by doing what he does best, firing a shot into the net in a brilliant advert for the Premier League.

England star Lauren James also performs a trick before jumping through flaming rings.

The marketing doesn't stop there for Sky, however, as they have several adverts posted around the UK.

Haaland is seen spinning two balls on his fingers in a huge poster while Toone is plastered on Hotel Football in Manchester.

The pair also appear on the Arndale Centre in Manchester, posing in United and City colours, as Sky up their marketing strategy.

Raducanu and Stokes pose on an advertising board at Tottenham Court Road tube station, as does James.

Golfer Rahm is spotted on a bus stop also, with Sky showing just why they are the home of sport.

Their circus advert comes on the eve of the new Premier League season, which gets underway in two weeks time.

Burnley host Manchester City live on Sky Sports in the season opener on Friday August 11, before Newcastle and Aston Villa's late clash is televised on Saturday.

The first Super Sunday of the campaign sees Brentford face Tottenham and Chelsea lock horns with Liverpool.
