Roy Keane slammed Jamie Redknapp for heaping praise on Tottenham following their draw with Manchester United.

Ange Postecoglou's side were held to a 2-2 draw by the Red Devils at Old Trafford having gone behind on two occasions.

Despite dropping two points, Redknapp and Gary Neville both praised the north London side for their improvement this season, pointing to their injury problems in the process.

Keane admitted Tottenham were the better team on the day but reminded his fellow pundits that they had not won the match.

Speaking on Sky Sports, he said: 'Everyone's praising Tottenham but it was a draw, they didn't win. They were missing big players, but so were Man United. When you're a big team, you have to deal with these things.

'They were the better team, but it was a draw. The staff got praised, the bus driver got praise, everybody got praise. It finished 2-2, everybody relax.'

Redknapp then claimed Postecoglou has taken Tottenham further than Erik ten Hag has with United but Keane disagreed.

'Clearly the problems are deeper at United than at Spurs. You haven't got a clue what you're going to get from (United),' he said.

Neville went on to suggest Tottenham will finish in the top three if they continue their improvement, but Keane hit back saying: 'Top three? Dream big, lads.

'The manager deserves credit, of course. They were confident and they were disappointed with a draw. They should be going all out for top four and to win a trophy. But they didn't show a real belief to win a game. They settled for a draw.'

United had taken the lead after just three minutes before Richarlison equalised for the hosts in the 19th minute.

Marcus Rashford restored United's lead on the 40 minute mark but Rodrigo Bentancur's goal seconds after the break ensured the points were shared.
