Roy Kean was spotted watching his former side Celtic play Scottish rivals Rangers in the Old Firm derby on Saturday.
The former Man United captain joined The Hoops back in January 2006 after his unceremonious departure from the Red Devils.
He would play for the Scottish champions for half a season, before announcing his retirment at the end of the season.
But on Saturday, Keane was seen in the stands at Celtic Park today watching his old side as they took a 1-0 lead against Rangers.
Paulo Bernardo smashed a half-volley past goalkeeper Jack Butland to put the hosts ahead, with Celtic looking to claim their third consecutive victory in the Scottish Premiership.
The Irishman, who returned one goal and one assist in 30 appearances for the Scottish club, hung up his boots at the age of 34 after an injury forced him to retire.
Back in 2021, it was reported that Keane, who had previously held coaching positions with Sunderland, Nottingham Forest and the Ireland national side, was also interested in replacing Neil Lennon as the Celtic manager.
Keane, in fact, reportedly also held talks with the club about becoming their head coach but his appointment never materialised.
He also revealed that he had the opportunity to take over as the Celtic boss back in 2014, but turned the offer down after he had not felt wanted by his former club.
Meanwhile, The Hoops sit top of the Scottish Premiership table having lost only two games this season.
Rangers sit second in the league, coming into the match five points behind their rivals, despite having been in flying form of late, going unbeaten in their last 13 matches.
