Roy Keane admitted he was shocked by Tottenham's 'All or Nothing' documentary as he claimed it revealed the Spurs dressing room was full of 'children' and Harry Kane's inept leadership skills.
Spurs were chosen by Amazon Prime to feature on the fly-on-the-wall documentary series unveiling the behind-the-scenes culture at the club during the 2019-20 season, which saw the north Londoners sack Mauricio Pochettino for Jose Mourinho.
And former Manchester United Keane took aim at several Spurs players after seeing the Amazon show, including Dele Alli and Eric Dier, for showing a lack of emotion in the dressing room.
'Spurs must be a hard job,' Keane told Sky Sports pundit Micah Richards in their 'Driving Home for Christmas' series. 'Imagine the culture at Spurs.
'Have you seen that documentary? When I watched that documentary - and I know it can get edited and all that - I was shocked (at) what was going on at the club.
'Even the players in the dressing room, the medical room - everyone was on their phones. They showed a couple of players falling out, maybe it was Alli and Dier, but they were arguing like children.
'They were going "oh you need to do your job". There was no aggression! They were like actors with no emotion behind it.'
Keane also criticised the pre-match team talks by Tottenham striker Kane - who is vice-captain to Hugo Lloris at the north London club - with the Sky Sports pundit claiming the England national team skipper needs to 'liven up a bit'.
'Harry Kane was doing a talk before the games,' Keane added. 'Oh my God Harry, you need to liven up man.
'First of all, if you're going to have a speech before every game, players are going to get bored of it. Why (do) you think you need speeches before matches?
'And you know when people were having huddles before the match and there's like 600 people in it? It loses what it's about.
'The bus driver was in it, the chef (as well). I'd be like "You, get out of this circle of whatever we're doing."'
Former Republic of Ireland captain Keane has been highly critical of Spurs - who recently hired Antonio Conte as manager - in recent seasons while on Sky Sports punditry duty.
In April of this year, when manager Mourinho was under pressure and facing the sack which he received later that month, Keane claimed that Spurs have been 'soft' for the last 40 years and will continue to have that side to them.
'There is a softness in this Spurs team,' he said on punditry duty at the time. 'Yea, they got to the Champions League final (in 2019) but they were lucky to get to that final.
'Also, getting to the final is like being top of the league in November. They got to the final but they got beaten in the final.
'And when Mourinho leaves, there will still be softness to this Spurs team. That's down to the players.'

no wonder they couldn't cope up with Mourinho mentality it's not his fault that last 2 jobs spurs and United both lacked a spine if mentality he is not sacked at real Madrid seriously who do spurs and United think they are to sack him without giving him time that's the problem of modern football they don't give time they want to play attractive football win and everything but people forget u only play attractive football if your defence is solid as a rock rebuild stars from gk to attacker that's the process

how many goals he scored for England through his career that he telling kane need to liven up more,is he serious to say that to natural goalscorer so sad
he's talking about Kane's leadership, not goal scoring ability. learn the difference between both. what has Kane won as a leader either for Spurs or for the country? Roy Keane on the other hand has won more than double the amount of trophies than the entire Spurs squad as a CAPTAIN alone! So I'd say he's very well qualified to make that assessment.

You must a fan of a has-been club.busking in the past, zero done present. The other half is better, happy, noisey City BLUE.
you must be so sad in life having to lick Man City's bu##ocks to get at Man Utd ππ guess what, your club neither has anything to show in the past nor in the present. your club can be in existence for another 500 years and it still won't match Man Utd as a club and the honours it has won

ok,that's History full stop. What does he contribute to the game now??only wind.He can't even help his former team with advise maybe they also tired of him like we are now All fowl wind.
the only wind here is Spurs' trophy cabinet. you asked how can he talk about players. he himself was a player and a captain and won countless titles while doing that. so he's talking from his own experience as a player and he's more qualified than most to make that assessment. least of all you ππ

I agree with this guy. Thereβs a lack of passion and seriousness with the squad. Hopefully itβs changing under conte.
