Ruben Neves has told Manchester United to expect 'a lot' from Bruno Fernandes following his arrival in the January transfer window.
United completed a £46.5million move for Fernandes earlier this week, after he signed a five-and-a-half year contract with the option of an additional year.
The 25-year-old made his debut for United on Saturday night as he shone in their goalless draw against Wolves in the Premier League fixture at Old Trafford.
Fernandes completed more passes than any other player on his debut as he gave a glimpse at the type of qualities he can bring to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side in the coming weeks.
The January arrival had an odd experience making his debut against compatriots Neves and Joao Moutinho but still managed to impress with a solid showing in the centre of the pitch.
Neves won the official man of the match award for his own midfield display, and speaking at full-time he praised Fernandes for the impact he made on his debut.
"It is always good playing against teammates from the international team," Neves told Sky Sports.
"I'm really happy for him, he's in a great club in a fantastic league.
"Now he can show everyone what he can do, there is a lot, he is a great player."
