SPAL forward Andrea Petagna has arrived in Rome to undergo his medical ahead of a reported move to Napoli this summer.
The Partenopei have, according to Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, closed the deal with SPAL at €17m plus bonuses and the former Atalanta and Milan striker will stay at the Paolo Mazza for the remainder of the season.
Petagna has scored eight goals in 21 Serie A games for the Biancazzurri this term, adding to his 16 from last season, and will remain to help the club fight for a new contract at the top tier of Italian football.
SPAL are currently 18th in the League and are one point away from safety after 22 rounds.
