Salah unveils shock hair transformation after shaving off his trademark afro

Mohamed Salah wowed fans on Saturday by unveiling his shock new hairstyle and shredded abs on social media, having opted to shave off his trademark afro.

The Egyptian, whom many fans are 'convinced' has had a hair transplant this summer, teased his fresh look on Instagram last month and appears to be delighted with the results.

And it's not just Salah's hairstyle that's changing at Liverpool. Perhaps marking the start to a new era, the 32-year-old forward will have a new manager in the dugout next season with Arne Slot preparing for his debut campaign in the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp's fruitful nine-year reign at the club came to an end this summer after the German decided to call time on his Anfield career.

Taking to social media platform X on Saturday, Salah shared his complete new look as he posed with shredded abs by the pool on holiday.

Just hours after being posted the post had racked up more than 58,000 likes and four million total views.

One fan wrote: 'Mo Salah is the 6288915th example of men getting better with age.'
