No one can say Alexis Sanchez's Manchester United move has been a total success.
The Chilean has struggled from the off at Old Trafford, with many thinking he was stifled by the tactics of former boss Jose Mourinho.
The ex-Arsenal man has been out for eight weeks with a hamstring injury but came off the bench to make an impact in the 2-0 win over Newcastle in midweek.
Sanchez teed up Marcus Rashford to seal the win in the north east - with many hoping the Norwegian's arrival could mean fans see the best of the striker.
Both Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku are set to make their first Manchester United starts under caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in Saturday’s FA Cup clash with Reading.
However his largely miserable time at Old Trafford could be set to come to an end.
Reports in Spain claim the Chilean has been offered an escape route from Spanish giants Valencia and Atletico Madrid.
El Gol Digital claim both clubs are ready to pounce - with them believing they won't have to pay a lot for the Chilean.
The big stumbling block, however, is his wages.
Sanchez is on a reported £500,000-a-week at Old Trafford.
He would need to either take a huge pay cut - or get United to fund some of his wages - if the move were to happen.
