The history of football is littered with conflicts between players and managers, so with everyone's eyes focused on Sarri and Kepa yesterday, let's take a look at five of the most heated feuds that have taken place between players and managers in the recent past
Maurizio Sarri left Wembley not only nursing the pain of a Carabao Cup final loss to Manchester City but with every shred of his authority and a large slice of his credibility as Chelsea manager stripped away by a disgraceful act of insubordination from goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, although both parties claimed it was all a big misunderstanding after match.
The heated and competitive nature of football means that clashes between players and managers are inevitable but sometimes, those feuds become so heated that one of, if not both of the people involved end up having to leave their positions at their club.
Jose Mourinho vs Paul Pogba
Mourinho and Pogba's relationship soured throughout the Portuguese's tenure at Old Trafford and was ultimately left irreparable prior to the self-styled Special One's dismissal in December.
Pogba was stripped of the vice-captaincy by Mourinho earlier this season before their bust-up was laid bare by television cameras at United's training ground.
A hostile stand-off between the duo was captured in late September after Pogba had posted on Instagram after the Red Devils' defeat to Derby in the Carabao Cup.
But the midfielder has enjoyed a new lease of life under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, helping the Red Devils back into the top four.
United are unbeaten in domestic competitions since Solskjaer's arrival, their only defeat coming against Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.
Raymond Domenech vs Nikolas Anelka and the French squad
This led to the rest of the squad boycotting training and the team ultimately crashing out of the tournament at the hands of hosts, South Africa. The 2010 World Cup is best left forgotten for France. The team had a complete disaster both on and off the pitch thanks in large to the dispute between manager Raymond Domenech and his squad.
The troubles started when Anelka publicly slated the manager following a defeat to Mexico, which then led to the former Chelsea and Arsenal star being sent home from the tournament.
The whole thing shrouded French football in controversy for the coming months, with the whole squad later being suspended for a game with Norway by the new manager, Laurent Blanc.
Roy Keane vs Sir Alex Ferguson
Given both Sir Alex Ferguson and Roy Keane are renowned for their fiery temperaments, it's a wonder it took the two men so long to come to blows at Old Trafford.
That being said, when the two men did eventually clash, things escalated incredibly quickly.
After a rumoured fall-out over training facilities, Keane bashed several of his team-mates in an interview with MUTV that never aired but was shown to the team behind the scenes.
The interview caused a lot of backlash against Keane and he finally left the club, signing for boyhood club, Celtic, in 2006.
Both men have not shied away from taking swipes at each other in the years that have followed, with Ferguson running Keane down in his autobiography, and Keane being one of the first pundits to attack Ferguson and Manchester United during his subsequent media career.
Keane did, however, wish Ferguson well following his brain haemorrhage last year and that has been seen as a sign of goodwill between the two Manchester United legends.
Roberto Mancini vs Carlos Tevez
Carlos Tevez didn't do his reputation any favours during his brief spat with then Manchester City manager, Roberto Mancini during the 2011/12 season.
Disgruntled with his position in the Manchester City squad, Tevez famously refused to come on as a substitute during a Champions League clash with Bayern Munich in a move that enraged both Mancini and the Manchester City fanbase.
The two men would eventually patch it up and Tevez would continue to play for City for another season before parting ways and signing for Juventus in 2013.
Sir Alex Ferguson vs David Beckham
Sir Alex Ferguson's feud with David Beckham is said to have been the main reason for the English midfielder's move to Real Madrid back in 2003.
Ferguson was said to have been unhappy with Beckham's general attitude, and the two men famously came to blows in the changing rooms, with Ferguson famously kicking a boot at Beckham's head, cutting him above the eye and grabbing headlines all over England.
The two men have since reconciled, with Beckham himself acknowledging that he was young at the time and was likely acting against his better judgment.

if u are a Chelsea fan, and u think Kepa disobey Sarri, that means u didn't watch the match. DSTV didn't show it anyway, so many people didn't watch in some area. If Sarri really want to sub off Kepa, the third official could have raise the board anyway, and Kepa would have no choice but to come off. This might even be an arrangement between Kepa and Sarri to waste time, maybe they are just acting, who knows. and u are here ranting sack Kepa, leave Darrin. u didn't talk about the outstanding performance of Kante and how Jorginho that Sarri so trust has failed. Remember Chelsea is still on transfer ban. If Kepa us out, can we rely on the old Caballero, Let's think!!!

caberello knows the City players far more than Kepa. He had trained with them and won penalties for Man City when he was their goal keeper. In Man City, Joe Hart usually get subbed for Caberello who was the master in Saving penalties. Sarri's decision isn't just for Kepa's perceived injury, it was also a tactical change to intimidate the City players facing their formal penalty hero. Kepa got this wrong. He didn't only disrespect his manager, he disrespected his fellow team goal keeper Caberello who had been in the Chelsea team long before he joined. Maybe Sarri had a point when he said the players aren't following his instructions that's why it seems his methods arent working. Mourinho complained about this, then came Conte and now Sarri. Abramovich quick sacking decisions have paved way for the players power in Chelsea. Kepa knew that Caberello will steal the headline if he had won the penalties for Chelsea.

What ever happen, Chelsea is what I share with people as passion-It was unfortunate that we lost but we have shown our quality against an organized and already made team the game is like that. Sarri must be giving a chance We must be sorry for Kepa’s action but I think it was just a commitment reaction that he can do it till the end. He has saved few penalties. He was in the tampo of the final to still confident #BravoCFCSoProud
