Sassuolo have reportedly agreed terms for Barcelona defender Marlon, with a buy-back option, and he’ll arrive for his medical on Thursday.
It is a real coup for the Neroverdi, as the Brazilian centre-back will arrive at a cost of €6m, according to Sky Sport Italia.
However, Barcelona will have a buy-back option to return him to Camp Nou in future.
In case he does remain at Sassuolo, the Blaugrana also retain a percentage of any sell-on fee.
There was competition from Schalke 04, Galatasaray and Sevilla.
Marlon turns 23 next month and spent last season on loan at Nice.
