Scamacca insists Atalanta can match Liverpool

Atalanta striker Gianluca Scamacca insists they can match Liverpool.

La Dea will go to Liverpool for the first-leg of their Europa League quarterfinal on Thursday.

“I think that Atalanta can compete with anybody, no matter who is on the pitch," Scamacca told Sky Italia.

“We will go there absolutely with the aim of competing and to try and get through to the next round.

“Liverpool are one of the strongest sides in Europe, they have plenty of different strengths.

“My qualities are a service to the team; dribbling, physicality, intensity. I hope, between now and the end of the season, to be of use and to help us achieve our goals."
