Schalke 'seek loan for Kenny from Everton'

Everton right back Jonjoe Kenny is a target for Bundesliga side Schalke.

The 22-year-old is wanted on an initial loan by the Germans who are working with a limited budget.

Burnley, who had an offer rebuffed in January, and Crystal Palace have also asked about the England U21 international.

Kenny has struggled to make an impression under Marco Silva who has preferred Seamus Coleman as his starting right back at Goodison Park.

Everton are also among the clubs to have asked about Paris Saint-Germain full-back Thomas Meunier.

Meanwhile, Celtic are among the clubs to have made an early approach for former Everton defender Phil Jagielka.
