Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel went on an astonishing rant after his side's 4-0 defeat to Liverpool, accusing referee Michael Oliver of wanting to “make himself a hero".
A Roberto Firmino double, plus James Milner's penalty and a fourth from the superb Trent Alexander-Arnold, saw Liverpool continue their march to the title.
But it was the awarding of penalty in the second half, following a Caglar Soyuncu handball, that raised the ire of the Foxes' goalkeeper.
And his frustration saw him call out both Oliver and former referee Dermot Gallacher, who now works primarily as a pundit.
Speaking to Amazon Prime after the game, Schmeichel said: “I think it was a bit tough. We were in the game until the referee had to make himself a hero, and from then on we lost our composure.
"They are the best side in the world along with Manchester City. We strive to be like Manchester City and Liverpool but they are a lot further along in their journey.”
Schmeichel continued: “What's his name, Dermot, he'll be on Sky saying 'oh, it's a great decision, the referee was brave' or something like that.
“I don't know what he's supposed to do. His arm's down by his side, it's been flicked off someone at the front post, he's got less than a millisecond to react.
“He's desperate to give it, and once he gives it, VAR's never going to overturn it is it?”

This is the time for Leicester City to critically look at themselves than hiding the truth. Since there winning run they didn't meet Liverpool and Manchester City so they started getting excited when the fact remain they are as good as Manchester United and Arsenal neverl close to us. Stop deceiving yourselves you are not even 10% like us

same thing happened to Robertson in the UCL game against Napoli. he was found to have a handball after the ball ricocheted and hit his arm. liverpool lost the game 2-0 and no one said anything after the match. these Leicester players are whiney boys

When Leicester went on an 8 games winning streak, they were playing the mid table teams, and they thought they were damn good, now that they had played both Man City and Liverpool, they should realise they're still a notch below them, face the facts.

The point is not that who was controlling the game at that point we were 1 - 0 and about 12 shot on target whilst Leicester haven't any shot on target. was it a penalty YES bcoz he make an abnormal movement with the left side of his body which seem to be anormal .
