Paul Scholes doesn't believe Paul Pogba will help Manchester United when he returns from injury as he claims the France international will only be focused on leaving the club.
The 26-year-old made a brief return from his ankle injury which had kept him sidelined for months earlier in the season when he came off the bench against Watford and Newcastle. But the midfielder suffered another set back and required surgery on his ankle after his two cameos.
Many believe the midfielder will make a big difference to Solskjaer's squad when he makes his return to full fitness. But, club legend Scholes has an alternative view.
"I don't think Pogba is on his way back [from injury] and even if he is on way back, he'll be moaning about something else to try and not play - try to get his move away from the club," Scholes told Premier League Productions after United's 2-0 defeat to Burnley at Old Trafford.
"We keep going on about the players that are missing but that squad of players, that team tonight, should be enough to beat Burnley. I fear for the next four-or-five weeks because I don't think any of them players are coming back quickly.
"I don't think McTominay is coming back. Marcus Rashford is looking like being out for three months.
"He is stuck with these players for the next six weeks and he has got to somehow coach these players and work these players to get a bit of confidence back. They need to try and get some results - they've got some hard games in the next few weeks. This is a really tough time for them."
Pogba has only played eight times for United this season and while speculation continues over his long term future at the club his agent, Mino Raiola, was asked on Wednesday about a possible summer transfer.
"I expect my players to be happy and I expect the clubs to be happy," Raiola told broadcasters after an Association of Football Agents meeting in London on Wednesday. "I don't want to work in front of what will be happening in the summer. He needs to get fit then it is my job to get both parties happy if possible. If both parties are not happy there are other ways to resolve it but that is not the way to talk today.
"I don't say anything for sure. Only one thing is for sure in life. One day, you die. Today he is not happy because he is not playing. But he went back to Man United when a lot of people didn't think he would. People forget that."

To everybody who thinks this is the right way to do things it’s really not. Just want to make a few points clear firstly the signing of ole gunnar solkjaer. He knows what he wants for the club and all but he is not even tactically close and the people who signed ole were weak for a replacement they didn’t think about it, ole isn’t a great manager if I was the boss in that position I would sign the man who brought Leipzig from relegation to the top of the table Julian nagelsmann very good style of football and allowed his team to adapt into it signed a top striker and created a name for him, second decision United didn’t do right is signed a director of football after sir Alex retirement, third thing was putting David moyes in charge which messed with the tactics of the team we have, third thing and everybody who disagrees are all the same but accepting that first team players are good enough for the club, Manchester United is a team of quality and the one we have today is a team of inconsistency what we have to do to turn this around is sign Julian nagelsmann, hire a director of football, get rid of players and I mean martial, pogba, lingard, periera, Jones, matic and sign players to replace them with pogba you can get bruno Fernandes and jack grealish from one player, that replaces him and lingard, promote angel Gomez for periera he’s technically gifted and a much better option, sign a player capable of playing out from the back koulibaly very strong capable of controlling the team, a player to receive the ball from deep and play the forward players we had one and united got rid of him don’t know why but that player was Daley blind and lastly the front three are far too inconsistent, I think David neres and sancho would be best with rashford as our number 9
