Sergio Aguero reveals WhatsApp audio message from Canelo Alvarez amid ongoing feud

Javier Hernandez has promised to protect Sergio Aguero, should Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez indeed come looking for him, as the two continue to feud over the Mexican boxer's comments towards Lionel Messi.

Having signed for Kings League side Porcinos on Tuesday, Chicharito appeared to make light of the situation between the man many regard to be the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world and the Argentinian pair.

Hernandez was signed by Porcinos FC to take part in now-retired defender Gerard Pique's latest venture, the Kings League - which sees former players and Spain's leading Twitch streamers pair up to take charge of clubs.

Aguero is not the only retired star involved, with Pique's former team-mates Iker Casillas and Carles Puyol also taking part in the venture.

Spanish internet personality Ibai Llanos - who bought Chicharito for Porcinos - announced the Mexican's arrival at his side, before the trio began to discuss the high-profile feud with Canelo, according to Marca.

And the now-retired Argentinian striker admitted that the war of wards has now strayed from social media to Whatsapp, with Canelo sending him an ominous voice note.

'He sent me an audio... do you know the s*** he had? When I see "Whatsapp" and read "Canelo, audio message", I said to myself "oh mother!"

'He told me: "Damn s***, I liked you, a******". I replied: "Mr. Canelo, it seems to me that you are wrong. You don't know Leo, at no time is he stepping on the Mexico shirt." He said "you're wrong", and he told me to respect his opinion.'

But former Manchester United forward Hernandez was quick to wade in and pledge his support for Aguero.

'Kuni, if something happens with Canelo, I am also here to defend you, my strength and my biceps are with you.'

'They will kill me, but I will die for you.'

Alvarez is considered a hero in Mexico, for whom Hernandez holds the all-time goalscoring record with 52 goals in 109 caps.

And when Aguero indicated he was not concerned about his Twitter war with the boxer, Chicharito added: 'I hope the same, that they don't find Canelo. That's what I say, I hope they don't find him.'

To which Aguero - who will lead Kunisports in the Kings League - stated: 'If we meet, he can't hit me, it's like a weapon, he'll go to jail!

'When Canelo said he would hit Leo, we all jumped there. To hit him, he has to hit me and beat us all - me, (Miguel) Layún, (Andres) Guardado...'

The feud with Canelo arose after the boxer sent a violent threat to Messi - Aguero's long-time friend and room-mate on the road for Argentina - after the forward appeared to brush a Mexican shirt on the floor with his foot while celebrating.

Alvarez interpreted the movement as Messi disrespecting his country, saying: 'Did you guys see Messi cleaning the floor with our jersey and flag.

'He better pray to God that I don't find him. Just like I respect Argentina, he has to respect Mexico!

'I'm not talking about the country as a whole, just about the bulls**t that Messi did.'

However, numerous stars have joined Aguero in standing up for the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner, including Mexican players Layun and Guardado - the player who's shirt Messi supposedly disrespected.

'Mr. Canelo, don't look for excuses or problems, surely you don't know about football and what happens in a locker room,' responded Aguero on behalf of his former team-mate.

'The shirts are always on the floor after games due to sweat, and then if you see well, he makes the movement to remove the boot and accidentally hits it.'

But the four-weight champion fighter was not to be deterred, firing back with: 'You too, b******? You used to write me, "oh, oh, Canelo", and now you're crying. Don't be a hypocrite, b******.'

Once again Aguero hit back, though, claiming Canelo was now 'playing with fire'.

'You earned the hatred of all of Argentina. Just with Messi, it's like saying something against Maradona. You played with fire,' Aguero said in a video posted on Twitter.

'So, I'm sorry, I followed you on Instagram, but I stopped following you. I liked you, I don't like you today.'
