Tottenham news - Son Heung-Min has been tipped to be dropped in favour of Richarlison against Sheffield United
The Lilywhites have started impressively under the new head coach, picking up ten points from a possible 12 on offer so far this season. Their new style of football has already won over the majority of fans, while even those of rival clubs have had an admiration for the start of something big.
They will be hopeful of continuing their great start when they face Sheffield United, who have only managed to pick up one point from their opening four games. Backed to be among the relegation battlers this season, Paul Heckingbottom's side fell to defeat against Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and Manchester City, though a draw with Everton last time out could give them a springboard to work from.
Spurs will have to be at their best to break down the visitors though, who showed they can defend well and cause problems for City, despite the result. Postecoglou will have some dilemmas over his team selection though, with Son starting the last game at centre-forward and scoring a hat-trick, showing he can fulfill that role.
That came after a disappointing few weeks for Richarlison, who has failed to score despite some bright moments and revealed during the international break that he has been battling issues off the field too. With a decision over who to choose in that role, former Arsenal star Paul Merson has backed for a return to the Brazilian number nine as well as a comfortable victory.
He told Sportskeeda as part of his prediction on the game: "Tottenham have come along really well under Ange Postecoglou and I expect them to win this one quite comfortably. I like the way they're playing, but their first big test of the season comes next weekend when they face arch-rivals Arsenal. Spurs need to win this one though and I think they'll do so with ease.
"Son Heung-min played through the center and scored a hattrick in his previous Premier League encounter, but Sheffield United are a physical team, so big Ange might look to play Richarlison up front to add something different to his attack."
It remains to be seen if that will be the decision made by Postecoglou and whether the game will pan out as he predicts, but many Spurs fans will be hopeful that is the case.
