According to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, one of Arsenal's key transfer priorities this summer is to strengthen the left-wing position. In addition to continuing to monitor Aston Villa winger Morgan Rogers, Arsenal are also exploring the possibility of signing Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis.
Arsenal are continuing their scouting of Rogers and have begun to understand the details surrounding a potential transfer. It is understood that Villa are willing to listen to offers around £80 million. Besides Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are also keeping an eye on Morgan Rogers.
However, as of now, there has been no formal club-level contact between Arsenal and Aston Villa regarding Rogers' transfer. Rogers only renewed his contract with Villa last November, with the new deal extending until 2031, which gives Villa significant leverage in future negotiations.
While monitoring Rogers, Arsenal are also evaluating the possibility of signing Club Brugge left-winger Tzolis. It is understood that Tzolis's transfer fee is expected to be around £34 million, which, if the deal goes through, would break the Belgian Pro League transfer record. Club Brugge have no desire to sell the 24-year-old player. Tzolis renewed his contract with the team last summer, and his current deal is valid until 2029.
