So soon? Confident Liverpool fan gets Premier League champions tattoo on his arm

A Liverpool fan has got himself a 2019-2020 Premier League Champions tattoo - even though there is more than three months left to go in the season.

Confident Mark Gretton is a lifelong Reds supporter who is so convinced Jurgen Klopp's men will win the league that he's had one of his arms colourfully and permanently inked.

The 53-year-old thinks Liverpool are such surefire bankers for their first league title in 30 years, currently holding a 22-point lead over Manchester City, he's gone under the needle.

The dad-of-four had the Liver Bird tattoo done seven days ago, after the Reds beat Wolves 2-1 away at Molineux , to further stretch their impressive lead.

He told the ECHO: "I'm so confident now we've won it, that I got the tattoo done.

"They've got to win it now, surely.

"I don't regret it one bit, I'm embracing it, I love it.

"My wife doesn't realise the league doesn't end until May, she think it's finished now!"
