Dele Alli has been slammed on social media following a poor Everton debut, as the Toffees fell to a 3-1 defeat at Newcastle.
The former Tottenham midfielder started the game on the bench, but was called into action after 25 minutes following an injury to winger Demarai Gray.
Frank Lampard's side were comprehensively beaten on the night with Alli putting in a noticeably poor performance, which was picked up on by fans on social media.
Twitter users did not hold back when describing Alli's debut, with one fan saying it should go in the 'Hall of Shame'.
The tweets are damning proof that Alli failed to impress during his first outing in Everton colours.
Frank Lampard jumped to Dele Alli’s defence on Monday, after the former Tottenham man was criticised for his attire during his unveiling at Goodison Park.
The Everton boss said: ‘My personal opinion is that I don’t care what car Dele drives, what clothes he wears, as long as I get a lad that comes to training every day, wants to improve every day, respects the club and respects his team-mates and gives everything to produce.
