Solskjaer has once again reiterated his desire to keep Paul Pogba, who is wanted by Real Madrid, at Old Trafford next season.
The United boss was quizzed about speculation linking Pogba with Barca's arch rivals Real Madrid as he prepared to face the Catalans at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
But Solskjaer insisted the club's record signing is going nowhere as looks to Pogba for a performance befitting his status as one of the world's best midfielders after he was sent in first leg of the last 16 tie against Paris Saint-Germain and suspended for the return game.
'Paul is looking forward to tomorrow,' said Solskjaer. 'He's a Man United player, one of our big performers on the big stage. His game against PSG was not his greatest moment. He's only focused on playing tomorrow and I cannot not see him not playing for Man United next season.
'Everyone has to perform and Paul at his best can run a game like this. You expect him to put his stamp on this. Paul's job is to be the creator, so of course I expect him to perform tomorrow.'

You better think of building a team instead of focusing on one player that is clearly not good enough.

let those who can advise ole do that immediately, he shouldn't build his team on or around pogba, that guy pogba, is a fine player sure and everyone knows that but he's not trusted nor reliable and if ole doesn't want a repeat of what happened to mou, he better learn to be without pogba, gaudiola did it in man city and they are now a formidable team to beat, if he has put his trust on aguero and co man city wouldn't have been where they are now so ole should learn lessons if pogba wants to go let him go Man United is a big team before and after pogba, don't allow one indispline player to draw the progress of our club back again as he did at the beginning of the season.
