Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was pictured leaving his local supermarket on Monday evening.

Solskjaer is preparing for the biggest game of his management career, with United due to host Barcelona in the first leg of a Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday.

United also have Premier League games with West Ham, Everton, Manchester City and Chelsea to plan for this month, but Solskjaer took time out of his busy schedule to do a small shop.

A loaf of wholemeal bread and a six pack of Pepsi Max were among the items Solskjaer was seen carrying as he walked away from the store.

At the end of long day Solskjaer, who had earlier arrived at United's training ground at 7.30am, looked tired.

But he still obliged when a fan asked him to pose for a selfie.

Solskjaer took a trip to Spain at the weekend to watch Barcelona beat Atletico Madrid 2-0 on Saturday.

Lionel Messi and Co struggled to break down the 10 men of Atletico after Diego Costa had been sent off in the first half.

But moments of magic from Luis Suarez and Messi in the final five minutes eventually earned the win which took Barcelona 11 points clear at the top of La Liga.
