Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has shocked his former Manchester United teammate Mark Lynch with his success as a manager.
The club legend took over from Jose Mourinho on a caretaker basis in December 2018 and surprised most people with his transformation at Old Trafford.
United embarked on an incredible unbeaten run which restored their lacklustre season before Solskjaer was eventually given the job on a permanent basis last spring.
During his first year in charge Solskjaer has overseen steady change at United on the playing front while the club has looked to implement a wider 'cultural reset' at all levels.
United have been one of the best English sides this calendar year with an 11-match unbeaten run which had put them on the brink of the Premier league top-four prior to football's postponement two months ago.
It has been a whirlwind experience for Solskjaer in charge at United, and former teammate Lynch admits he is surprised by just how successful the Norwegian has been.
"He's not one of the players I would have looked back on and thought he is going to be a top, top manager," Lynch, who played alongside Solskjaer in the first-team between 2001 and 2004, admitted to MEN Sport.
"But I think when you look at footballers and the transition of going from footballer to being a manager, being a good player doesn't make you a good manager.
"I wouldn't have put Ole down as the next Manchester United manager from that team of '99 or from even the 2000s, but clearly he's got something that makes him good at what he does.
"I just think it is a funny one. Manchester United is Manchester United, I think it is just really important to have someone who knows the club in charge.
"Even from being at different clubs, Man United is a different club to any of the others I have been at. Don't get me wrong, I haven't been at any other clubs in terms of the stature of United, but it is just the way they play football, the history. I just think when you bring someone in away from that the club loses its identity a little bit.
"I would say the players would want to play for him for what he has done at the club, so I think because he has got that he is in a good place."

The season ain't completed yet but yes, success in terms of cultural reset, playing style. Beating the top 6 regularly tells you we r on the right path. There r still alot of work to do. The real challenge is next season in the league. But I will be happy with a FA Cup or Europa Cup plus a ucl place this time.

There were alot of injuries this season,Ole rarely had a completely fit-squad to choose from, earlier in the season when he did had that United beat Chelsea 4-0 and almost beat Wolves at Molineux since then he never had a completely fit-squad,I believe once Football returns and everybody's fresh United can really push for the Top 4 and in both the FA Cup and Europa League.
hello ooooo are you from India
