Solskjaer jokes that Sir Alex will take Man Utd team talk against Liverpool

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer joked that Sir Alex Ferguson would give the team talk for Manchester United ahead of their clash with Liverpool.

Solskjaer takes on United's big rivals for the first time since he replaced Jose Mourinho as interim manager in December.

And Jurgen Klopp's side visit Old Trafford on Sunday knowing that a draw or a win will see them return to the top of the Premier League.

Solskjaer said on Friday: 'We’re playing Liverpool and we know how big this game is.

'Our job is to channel emotion of the game and not get caught up in it. The comparison is PSG and we have to do better.

'We know what it meant to Fergie to beat Liverpool. Maybe I should ask him to give the team talk!'
