Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is having a new food station installed in the canteen at Carrington so his players don't have to queue for their lunch with club staff after training.
The new United boss was not happy about the amount of time the squad were having to wait for their meals and wanted to introduce a fast-track system.
Players will still eat with staff at the training ground because Solskjaer has been keen to create a happier working environment since returning to the club in December.
He is not the first United manager to make changes in the canteen after taking over. David Moyes banned chips from the menu, which had been a pre-match favourite among the players, while Louis van Gaal introduced round tables to encourage conversation and dictated which players should go up to be served first.
Meanwhile, Solskjaer's assistant coach Mike Phelan wants assurances over the management structure at Manchester United before agreeing to stay as Solskjaer's right-hand man.
Phelan is expected to sign a long-term contract at Old Trafford after playing a pivotal role in United's revival since returning to the club in December.
But more than a week after the United manager was installed on a permanent basis, Phelan is still considering his position following talks on Wednesday.
He has concerns over the convoluted management and recruitment system. Solskjaer himself has been surprised by United's bloated network of 58 scouts across the world.

Forget about the 3 defeats from the last 4 games, just get the food served faster to Luke Shaw.

They've made Olly Goofy the new canteen dishwasher, to stop him from making a fool of himself, pretending to be a manager.

Hopefully Phelan stays! He knows how Sir Alex Ferguson managed and can help Ole do the same!
