Bayern Munich continue to be haunted by late goals conceded against English clubs in Champions League finals, yet Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Camp Nou toe-poke stands as one of the sport's most incredible moments.
With both teams fighting for a respective treble, Manchester United were 1-0 down going into the 90th minute, yet they won the final with goals from Teddy Sheringham and Solskjaer himself.
The treble is a feat that no club in England has matched since, however Solskjaer made his name famous with a stunning winning goal from the bench, something which defined his career.
He's now in charge of the senior team at Old Trafford and hopes to achieve another Camp Nou miracle when Manchester United take on Barcelona on Tuesday.
Deportivo La Coruna become SuperDepor
Another memorable instance came in the Champions League when Deportivo La Coruna took on AC Milan in the quarter-final of the 2003/04 season. Having lost the first leg 4-1, the Spanish side appeared to be heading out of the competition, yet a memorable evening was to follow.
Inspired by Walter Pandiani, Alberto Luque and Juan Valeron, the Galician side won 4-0 in the return leg in one of the most magical matches in the club's history.
The miracle of Istanbul
AC Milan were once again on the receiving end of a miraculous comeback the next season when they faced Liverpool in Istanbul in the 2005 final.
After one of the most gloriously dominant first half performances in a Champions League final since the Rossoneri took Barcelona apart in Athens, the Italian giants were headed to their second European Cup in three years.
However, being 3-0 down at half time didn't deter the Merseyside club and a stunning comeback included goals from Steven Gerrard, Vladimir Smicer and Xabi Alonso allowed Jerzy Dudek to make a phenomenal penalty save from Andriy Shevchenko to hand Liverpool their fifth European Cup.
Barcelona-Atletico Madrid, comeback and counter-attack
The matches between the two Spanish rivals in the 1990s were pure theatre, especially in October 1993. Atletico Madrid were 3-0 down at half time against Barcelona at the Estadio Vicente Calderon, however somehow turned the match around to win 4-3.
Barcelona got their revenge in March of 1997 at the Camp Nou, in the second leg of the Copa del Rey quarter-final.
Los Colchoneros were 3-0 up in the first half, however Los Cules answered Milinko Pantic's incredible four-goal haul with five of their own, progressing through to the next round.
The 6-1 of Sergi Roberto
Paris Saint-Germain remain scarred by this match to this very day. After defeating Barcelona 4-0 in the first leg of their Champions League tie it was expected the Parisian club would ease their way through.
However, Barcelona achieved the impossible by winning 6-1, and the goals themselves came in scarcely believable circumstances.
The Blaugrana needed three goals in injury time, however a Neymar free-kick and a penalty set the scene for Sergi Roberto's incredible winning goal.
Kostas Manolas crushes Barcelona's Champions League dream
2017/18 saw Barcelona on the receiving end of a dramatic turnaround, this time in the Eternal City. The Catalans arrived in the Italian capital with a 4-1 victory in the first leg, however they slumped to a 3-0 defeat against AS Roma.
Having performed poorly for the majority of the evening, Barcelona weren't actually behind in the tie until the 82nd minute when Kostas Manolas scored a towering glancing header.
Spain's 12-1 win over Malta
Wednesday, December 21, 1983 saw the comeback of all comebacks for the Spanish national team. In a match held at the Estadio Benito Villamarin, Spain needed to beat Malta by 11 goals if they were to qualify for the European Championship.
In the end, they managed this with a 12-1 victory and secured qualification.
Arsenal's Capital One Cup travails
Reading stunned Arsenal by taking a 4-0 lead in the 37th minute of play in a Capital One Cup tie against the Premier League side, however drama was to follow.
Something extraordinary happened at the Madejski Stadium with the Gunners ending up winning the match 7-5 after extra time.
