On July 2nd, English media "The Daily Telegraph" Northern Football correspondent James Ducker believes that some fans' criticism of Tonali and M. Fernandes is unwarranted.
The Telegraph reporter commented on M. Fernandes and Tonali's transfers to Tottenham Hotspur:

I completely understand Manchester United's position on these two, but ridiculing Tottenham Hotspur's ambition is insane. And this is not Manchester United during the Woodward era. Tonali and Fernandes are not a declining, always-injured Schweinsteiger. I absolutely despise transfer wars on social media. Send me back to the 90s.
