Bayern Munich are ready to step up their interest in Tottenham winger Son Heung-min.

According to CalcioMercato, South Korea international Son is on the Bundesliga champions' wish list

Son made just his second appearance of the season for Spurs as a 73rd minute substitute against Liverpool on Saturday, having been away to help his nation win the Asian Games.

Winning the competition meant Son will not have to undergo military training, which makes him a more lucrative target.

Son joined Spurs in 2015 from Bayer Leverkusen and is expected to start against Inter Milan on Tuesday night in the Champions League.

Stories from Tuesday's Mirror

Marcus Rashford is not trusted by his Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, according to Old Trafford legend Rio Ferdinand . The striker rarely starts, and when he does it's often out of position in wide areas rather than the central striker role he prefers...

However, Rashford is in line to start Wednesday's Champions League opener away to Swiss side Young Boys

Jack Wilshere is reportedly out for six weeks following ankle surgery. The West Ham and England midfielder picked up the injury in training last week and missed Sunday's 3-1 win over Everton .

Newcastle forward Ayoze Perez says it's too soon to worry about a winless start that's seen them lose five of six matches so far.
