Son Heung-Min has given hope to “all Asian players and fans” with his performances for Tottenham this season according to Park Ji-sung, who believes the Spurs star could become the greatest Asian player of all time.
"He is doing an excellent job at the moment for sure,” Park told Goal. “He is developing season by season and he makes the fans to expect even more for the next season.
“I believe he is giving hopes to all Asian players and fans, and I hope he can go even higher than now."
Park enjoyed a successful career in England, having played eight seasons in the top flight, winning four Premier League titles and a Champions League crown with United.
"For me, it's not me, not him, but Cha Bum-kun,” Park explained. “South Korean fans say Cha, Park, Son, who are the all-time top 3 among South Korean players, so it's a meaningless comparison.
“We need to wait and see whether Son can surpass Cha in the future. Personally, I hope Son can go even further than Cha because it would mean South Korea keeps producing the best Asian players.
“For that, I hope Son to get the title of 'best Asian player ever' in the future.”

Son is the best at the 8 million range right now and makes me feel better about not having kane. Our best four attackers are kane, Eriksen, son and Alli. It feels that now Eriksen, Alli and son are more similar when it comes to rotatability whereas before it was more like Kane, Alli/Eriksen, son, Lucas/lamela. As a result I think son is underpriced because he is priced like last year son who was more on par with Lucas/lamela. When he plays with kane or without kane he adds a new dimension to our game and plays furthest forward and the fans absolutely adore him. He's a shoe-in for my team going forward.

One of the main reasons why I brought him in despite his 'rotation risk' is because he rarely plays 90. He's consistently playing about 70+ minutes, which is historically speaking sufficient rest for a player in his prime age. Son's form recently has been arguably integral to the Spurs team. I would think he's relatively nailed. Poch also tends to make his subs at about the +- 75th minute, which means that IF he gets benched, he would either get at least 15 minutes to run around, or none at all.
