Spain's nutritionist: Luis Enrique could play if he had to

Luis Enrique is returning to the Spain set-up as coach after many years as player, although the team nutritionist believes he could pull on a shirt and take the field again if he had to.

Doctor Antonio Escribano weighed all of the players to calculate their body mass and far and water levels and he also took measurements for the coach, who is known for his amazing fitness.

"The coach is ready to play," he joked afterwards.

"If there's a complicated situation with substitutes then I think the coach could play and he'd do so well."

Escribano was pleased with the players' fitness overall, labelling them as "impeccable".
