Fury and humiliation are the primary feelings coming from Spain, the morning after Barcelona suffered one of the worst Champions League defeats of all time.
Barca were beaten 4-0 by Liverpool in the semi-final second leg at Anfield, crashing out of the competition having led 3-0 after the first game at the Nou Camp.
The Spanish media have unsurprisingly been hugely critical following the loss, describing it as the worst moment in the history of the club.
Spanish newspaper Sport, on yellow letters on plain black funereal background, carry the headline: 'The biggest ridicule in history.'
Underneath they describe it as the 'blackest page' in the history of Barca after they were 'eliminated from the Champions League in an unforgivable way at Anfield.'
They compare the loss to Barca's elimination from the competition last season where they went out to Roma in the quarter finals, losing 3-0 in Italy having won 4-1 in the first leg.
The back page of Sport reads: 'As happened in Rome, [Barca manager Ernesto] Valverde's team did not know how to manage their advantage.'
The other Spanish sports newspapers have a similar theme - AS call it a 'storm in Anfield' as Barca said 'goodbye to the treble', failing to add to the La Liga title and their place in the Copa del Rey final.
Mundo Deportivo have a one word headline: 'Sonrojo', which roughly translates as 'Embarrassing'.
They describe Barca as playing 'without a soul', and say the 'ridiculous' fourth goal - where Divock Origi swept in a quick Trent Alexander-Arnold corner with the Barca defence statuesque - marks 'the epitaph of a team that repeated Rome.'
Meanwhile Marca, which generally covers Real Madrid in more detail, were also highly critical of Barca's shock elimination.
They ran the headline 'Fracaso Historico' - meaning 'Historic Failure' - under a picture of the scoreboard reading 4-0 to Liverpool.

I will rather lose playing like Manchester City than win with Valverde's pattern. I saw this coming long ago and I kept voicing my fears but people kept calling me names and some even called me a Madrid fan. I have always maintained that one can't give what he doesn't have so like Buhari, Valverde can't offer what he doesn't have. Going forward, Messi and few other players should put aside favouritism and friendship and put the team first. We obviously need a Barcelona kind of coach who will rather improve on our philosophy, turn our youngsters to superstars, send some old players packing and train our players to take shots from outside the area (that's what I meant by improving the tiki-taka). Imagine that Kompany goal, if he hadn't taken that shot, Man city won't be in the race for league title anymore. Lastly, let Messi drop the captain band for Pique, he might be the best player but he seem to be coming short as a captain both in Barcelona and Argentina. He doesn't know how to shout on or motivate his teammates who all sort of look up to him. A.K.O Feyisetan

Yes we lost and yes it hurts but blaming the coach or one player won’t help us cus we failed as a team. I lost $200 to my co worker Cus she said we’d lose. And we certainly did. I see some Barca fans changing their logo to Man city and Liverpool. Y’all Judas! And honestly don’t aren’t worth it. If Barca won all their games, it would most certainly tire me out. This was a cold hard lesson for us and we deserve whatever these trolls throw at us. Our faith in Messi and Barcelona as a team will not falter. We’re the only Spanish team to get this far this season. We deserve some damn accolades! We weren’t at our best, heck we played like an average team. We’re are the biggest club in the world, whether we win or lose Messi is still the highest goal scorer in Top Europe and UCL these season. Let’s count our blessings and lay our hurt ego aside. We’ll try again next year It’s more than a club, it’s a lifestyle and we are family. Forca barca

Messi is a player but not a leader or captain in fact he can't motivate his teammates in difficult times
