Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks says they can use their new stadium to their advantage when they face Manchester City in the Champions League this week.
Spurs finally moved into their new home last week, beating Crystal Palace 2-0 in the Premier League.
City will be the second visitors to the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday, for the first leg of the Champions League quarter final, and Winks says they can use the feel-good factor at the stadium to their advantage.
He said : “We're looking forward to it, everyone is looking forward to a big game coming off the back of a win and hopefully the fans can create the same atmosphere, which I'm sure they will.”
“From what I gathered out there tonight it can be quite daunting for the opposition, and that is all credit to the fans and the sound they make in the stadium.
"It is a place we can settle in to quickly and call home, and make it difficult for opposition to come to."
With Spurs underdogs in the tie, Winks says the home fans can create a similar atmosphere to Liverpool fans at the same stage of the competition last year.
Liverpool raced into a 3-0 lead in the first leg at Anfield, as City later admitted the hostile atmosphere played a part in the shock defeat.
That is something Winks admitted would help Spurs establish themselves in the two-legged tie, but the young England international stressed his side must match the passion of the crowd on the pitch.
“I saw that, but ultimately it's how we perform on the pitch," Winks said when asked about the impact of the Anfield atmosphere last season.
"Of course the fans play a massive role in creating that atmosphere and helping us out, but the most important thing is how we play, how we set ourselves out, and if we perform like we did today, and press like we did, it can be a difficult game for City.”

the best way to defeat man City is to attack as well as much as they do and try as much as possible to contain their attack as well, facing man city with a defense mentality only cause more problem and goals for you, ask man u abt that during mourinho reign.
