Tottenham fans have been mocked by rival supporters for holding a lap of honour before their final home game.
Ange Postecoglou's side beat Burnley 2-1 on Saturday to relegate the Clarets and keep their faint Champions League hopes alive going into the final week of the season.
Spurs have two games left to play, with the club travelling to bottom side Sheffield united next week for their final game of the season.
Before that, they will host leaders Manchester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday in a game that has left supporters split in their opinions due to the nature of the title race.
And fans have poked fun at the club after families were invited on the pitch for a lap to thank fans for their support, despite the hosts still having another home game remaining this season.
In a video shared by Tottenham's social media accounts on Saturday, the likes of Postecoglou and captain Son Heung-min could be seen on the pitch in North London waving to fans and offering their thanks.
The Australian could be seen patting his chest to mark the near end of what has been widely-regarded as a successful first season in charge that will see them at least qualify for the Conference League.
Spurs' end to the season is somewhat complicated, however, with the City game having a direct impact on the title race. The defending champions need to win their last two matches to guarantee winning a fourth Premier League title, with the first of the two games being against Tottenham.
If Spurs can stop City, the title will be in Arsenal's hands, with Spurs' arch rivals just one point behind Pep Guardiola's outfit with two games left to play themselves.
'Don't you have Manchester City at home on Tuesday?' one fan posted on X, formerly Twitter. 'What are you doing? Keep this lap of honor for Tuesday when you beat City.'
Another wrote: 'Sksksks these are the man Arsenal are begging,' accompanied by two crying emojis.
A third added: 'Nah this is next level hatred for Arsenal. Spurs have another home game on Tuesday but have decided to do their end of season lap of honour today.'
Richarlison, who missed the game through injury, posed for fans pitchside during the celebrations.
The likes of Brennan Johnson and Christian Romero were also pictured on the pitch, a week prior to the end of the season.
Fans continued to mock the celebrations, with one writing: 'The arsenal fan in the comment section can't believe what they are seeing.'
A second posted: 'This the worst football team have seen. You have Manchester City on Tuesday and you are saying farewell'
