Raheem Sterling appears to be planning for life after Manchester City amid reports he is negotiating to sell his £4.5million house to Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold.
England right back Alexander-Arnold is believed to be considering relocating from south Manchester, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 23-year-old currently resides in the same road as Liverpool team-mate Alisson and former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
And it's believed Alexander-Arnold is in negotiations to buy Sterling's Cheshire home – fuelling further speculation that the Manchester City and England forward could be on the way to the capital.
Talks between Chelsea and Manchester City over Sterling's proposed switch to Stamford Bridge have accelerated significantly in recent days.
There is a growing confidence of a deal being struck and an agreement is edging closer.
It is thought the fee for Sterling, who is set to sign a four-year contract at Chelsea, will be around £45million.
Chelsea and City have been in regular talks over the England international, who has scored 131 goals in 337 appearances across seven seasons at the Etihad Stadium.
The Blues have already made a formal approach to City for the signing of Sterling, with a view to wrapping up the deal by the end of the week.
Sterling has already held positive discussions with Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel over how he would be utilised at Stamford Bridge, and that conversation solidified the 27-year-old's desire to leave City.
