Daniel Sturridge has reflected on his terrific start to the new season, admitting he is in excellent condition as he looks to keep up his resurgence in form.
Despite starting just two games this term, Sturridge has found the net four times in his nine appearances across all competitions.
His latest strike, a stunning long range equaliser in the draw at former club Chelsea in September underlined his revival following a tough few years for the 29 year-old.
Sturridge admits he is happy with his current role at the club having proved to be an effective super sub in recent weeks.
'I'm feeling amazing so I can't really complain, he told Liverpool's website. 'I can have no complaints. I'm just excited for the next month coming up and hopefully we can get some good results in that month.'
'Whatever the manager feels is best for the team [is best]. Whoever's the right players to play, [we] will push ourselves to the limit. We've got a great squad so you've just got to be ready to give your all, give your everything, to push yourself to the limit.
'So, however many minutes you get, whether you're starting or you're coming off the bench, you want to support the team as best as possible and help them be successful.'
Sturridge's resurgence comes after a wretched run of injuries that have hampered his career since firing in 24 goals in his first full season at Anfield in 2013-14.
The striker was sent out on loan to West Bromwich Albion last season and after failing to impreses it had looked like his time at Anfield was coming to an end.
But now he is looking forward to helping Liverpool maintain their unbeaten Premier League start when they travel to Huddersfield.
'I think it will be tough', Sturridge added. 'The games are always difficult off the back of international breaks: players are tired, they've travelled, the week's not as long in terms of we can't do as much tactical work as we would usually do throughout the week,'
'We never will underestimate any team. People will say we're favourites but we're going into this game and we're both on the same playing field. It's the Premier League, so every team is strong in this league.'
